Renowned American gospel artist CeCe Winans is set to perform in Uganda on 28th August 2025 at the Kololo Independence Grounds in Kampala.
The concert is part of her 2025 worldwide tour, which will see her perform in over 20 countries, including Uganda.
“Hello, my Ugandan fans, I am CeCe Winans and I can’t wait to see you at my concert at Kololo Independence Grounds,” she said in a promotional video shared on social media.
Winans is scheduled to perform in South Africa on 19th August 2025, followed by a concert in Harare, Zimbabwe on 22nd August, before heading to Kampala. She will conclude her African tour with a performance in Nairobi, Kenya, on 30th August.
Her latest album, More Than This, features the award-winning single “That’s My King” and the fan-favourite “Come Jesus Come,” which is already being hailed as the next big gospel anthem.
Born Priscilla Marie Love, CeCe Winans is one of the most decorated gospel artists in history. She has won 17 Grammy Awards, 33 GMA Dove Awards, 19 Stellar Awards, 5 NAACP Image Awards, and 3 Billboard Music Awards, among others.
At 61, she has sold over 19 million records, certified by the RIAA, making her one of the best-selling gospel artists of all time.
