Ugandan socialite and philanthropist Bryan White came out guns blazing against popular YouTuber Kasuku, following a recent interview that stirred controversy across social media platforms.
White, known for his philanthropic work through the Bryan White Foundation, took offence after he crossed paths with a clip in which Kasuku had allegedly spread false claims about him, particularly involving celebrated businesswoman Zari Hassan.
The storm began brewing when Kasuku appeared on The Sit Down with Shalom 256, in an interview drawing raw, unfiltered narratives from Uganda’s celebrities and influencers.
During the hour-long episode, Kasuku opened up about his past interactions with Bryan White, sharing fond memories that surrounded the flashy mogul.
With his characteristic humour, Kasuku painted vivid pictures of Bryan White’s flamboyant generosity, detailing nights of lavish spending and the notorious “podium” lifestyle.
During their jazz, Kasuku touched on topics that Bryan White says crossed the line, especially comments regarding Zari Hassan, who was once associated with the Bryan White Foundation as an influencer.
According to Bryan White, Kasuku claimed that he had an intimate relationship with Zari and had paid her millions for a trip to Arua, where the Foundation held one of its grand events.
These remarks didn’t sit well with Bryan White, who quickly took to social media in a fiery live broadcast to set the record straight.
“You pretend to know but you don’t,” Bryan White said during the live. “If I do not have money like you say, it is okay. But do not bring in other people. Why would you drag someone’s wife into all this mess?”

Bryan White has since demanded that Kasuku produce evidence to back his allegations.
He accused the YouTuber of exploiting old memories for clout while conveniently ignoring the support and goodwill he had once received from him.
“What hurts me is waking up and talking about someone with things that happened many years ago. Should we also talk about everything I did for you?” White added, his frustration evident. “You are a weak man to be talking about things like that.”
The confrontation has triggered a wave of reactions online, with fans and commentators split on who’s in the wrong.
As of now, we are yet to hear Kasuku’s formal response to Bryan White’s outburst, though clips from the podcast continue to circulate widely.
