Despite their past romantic relationship, singer and producer Daddy Andre has made it clear that he won’t perform for free at Nina Roz’s political rallies.

Nina Roz, who announced her intention to contest as Sembabule Woman MP in the 2026 general elections under the National Unity Platform (NUP), may have expected some support from her ex. However, Andre insists business comes first.

“I am Daddy Andre, and if you want to book me for your campaigns, I’ll send you my manager’s number and you send him the money,” he said. “It’s politics, not just a normal event, so I have to get paid.”

Andre emphasised that their past affair has no influence on his professional decisions, noting that Nina Roz has since moved on with another man.

“Our relationship ended, and she has another man now. What we had doesn’t matter anymore—it’s strictly business,” Andre added.
