Kabuleta Declares: “I’m The Alpha And Omega Of NEED – No One Can Suspend Me”

Aspiring presidential candidate Joseph Kabuleta, who is the president of the National Economic Empowerment Dialogue (NEED) party, has dismissed reports claiming he was suspended. He insisted that no one in the party has the authority to remove him.

Speaking in a recent local TV interview, Kabuleta strongly rejected the alleged 90-day suspension that was announced by a section of the party.

He said the so-called suspension has no legal basis and that only he, as party president and chief spokesperson, can call or communicate official party decisions.

“I am not suspended. In NEED, a spokesperson cannot override the authority of the president. This party has a constitution, and I’m the Alpha and Omega of NEED,” Kabuleta said firmly.

Furthermore, Kabuleta confirmed that he remains the party president until 2030. He will also represent NEED as the presidential flag bearer in the 2026 general election.

“The so-called suspension is null and void. I will continue leading this party, and I’m the only one authorised to summon NEC meetings or issue official communication,” he added.

The 2021 presidential candidate blamed the confusion on internal saboteurs planted to destabilise political parties. However, Kabuleta said that he harbours no anger toward the media for reporting the story, though he wishes they had sought his side before publishing.

“This party was built on a strong vision, and I’m still the one steering it. Any decisions about NEED will come from me—no one else,” he stressed.

Kabuleta’s remarks put to rest the rumours and make it clear that, in his view, NEED’s leadership is not up for debate. In regard to party funding, he said that they will carry out a countrywide drive, and he’s sure that people will contribute heavily as they love him and the party.
