Uganda is gearing up for a major entertainment highlight this December as Jamaican dancehall star Spice prepares to headline a concert in Kampala.
Event organisers have confirmed that the award-winning artist, known globally as the “Queen of Dancehall,” will perform live at Lugogo Cricket Oval on December 6, a venue renowned for hosting some of the country’s biggest shows.
Spice had earlier hinted at Uganda being part of her tour, but the official announcement has now set fans buzzing with excitement.
While in the country, the singer is also expected to immerse herself in Uganda’s cultural treasures with planned visits to heritage sites such as the Kasubi Tombs, Mengo Palace, Murchison National Park, and Namugongo, amplifying Uganda’s image as the Pearl of Africa.
Organisers noted that ticketing information and additional concert details will be released in the coming weeks. The announcement was made during a colourful media launch at Serena Hotel in Kampala.
The show will also feature Ugandan female talent artists Cindy, Sheebah, and Winnie Nwagi. The show is powered by Nile Special.
