According to Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda the shadow finance minister for says that the 72 trillion shilling budget in the country’s proposal is just exaggerated for purposes of creating an impression that Uganda’s economy is growing.
Ssemujju also added that URA has been collecting 24 trillion, 25 trillion and sometimes 26 trillion. He also added that the collections are growing by 1 trillion to 2 trillion, and to him, he says the tax component won’t be made.
